MU Online is a MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing game) video game that was created by a Korean gaming company, Webzen, and designed by Webzen MU Studio. The production started in December 2001 and released in October 6, 2003. It is now available in Windows 98, ME, 2K, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8.The genre of this game is Isometric, where the player will have to jump over suspended platforms and walk over obstacles in order to explore the map of the game. The setting of this game is in the world of medieval fantasy.
Before entering the game, players will have to choose one out of 8 classes. To gain experience points, one must fight against the monsters that are randomly spawned across the map. After the player’s victory, enemies will drop down loot for the character to be upgraded or enhanced. Each enemy has its own uniqueness, from the basics such as the Orcas and the Goblins to the expert such as the Gorgon and the Kundun. PvP (Player v.s Player) is available but discouraged. When a player attacks another player, they will fight for a limited time until one will remain victorious.

Player will have to choose 3 classes as a starter pack-Dark Wizard, Dark Knight, Elf, Magic Gladiator, Dark Lord. They can now unlock 2 new characters as they progress through the game- Magic Gladiator and a Dark Lord. They can also purchase character cards in order to unlock new classes-Summoner, Rage Fighter, and Grow Lancer. Each class has its own skill set and items. As they level up, they become stronger, gaining access to new weapons, items, spells, and the change of appearance mu online private server.
